OEKO-TEX Standard 100 was developed in 1992 by the OEKO-TEX International Association for Environmentally Friendly Textiles. There are now 16 testing associations, all of which test textiles for harmful substances in order to determine their safety, and the OEKO-TEX Standard 100 certification is now the most widely used textile eco-label.

The European Textile Research Association (ETRA) has been working for many years in order to obtain criteria for measuring the ecological quality of textiles in an objective and scientifically validated way. oeko-tex Standard 100 sets limits for the content of harmful substances in yarns and fibers as well as in all types of textiles, based on the latest scientific knowledge. Only producers who provide a certifiable quality guarantee according to strict testing and inspection procedures are allowed to use the Oeko-Tex label on their products.

Our products have been tested by the Oeko-Tex International Association for Environmentally Friendly Textiles and have been awarded the EU Confidence in Textiles Oeko-TexStandard 100 Level 1 certification label every year.
